Job Purpose
The Call Centre Agent will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer calls, assisting with banking inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing accurate information about financial products and services. The role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally
Assist customers with account-related queries, card issues, and online banking support
Provide information on loans, savings accounts, and other banking products
Accurately capture and update client details on internal systems
Escalate complex matters to relevant departments when necessary
Ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures
Meet performance targets and service level agreements
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
Previous call centre or customer service experience (advantageous)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy and ability to work with multiple systems
Clear criminal and credit record (may be required)
