SISTER ALLEGEDLY HIRES HITMAN TO KILL HER OWN SISTER IN SHOCKING KWAZULU-NATAL CASE

A heartbreaking and deeply disturbing family tragedy has left the Mkhambathini and Camperdown communities in shock after a woman was allegedly murdered in a plot involving her own sister.

34-year-old Fundisa Mngwengwe was brutally killed on 20 March 2026 at her home in the Mkhambathini area near Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

According to reports, Fundisa was found dead inside her home next to her young child. She had suffered multiple stab wounds. Fortunately, the child was not physically harmed during the horrific incident.

What has shocked many people the most is the allegation that the murder was allegedly arranged by Fundisa’s own sister following an ongoing family dispute.

Police investigations reportedly led to the arrest of Nikiwe Mngwangwe, who is accused of hiring a man identified as Duncan Phelelani Ntuli, also known locally as “Pe,” to carry out the killing.

The two appeared before the Camperdown Magistrate’s Court as the case continues.

Community members say the incident has left residents devastated and struggling to understand how a conflict between sisters could allegedly end in such violence.

Many people who knew the family described the situation as painful and tragic, especially considering that a young child was present at the scene when the murder allegedly took place.

Cases involving violence within families often leave lasting emotional scars on relatives, children, and entire communities. This alleged act of sororicide — the killing of one sister by another — has sparked widespread sadness and outrage on social media, with many calling for justice for Fundisa.

Authorities are continuing with investigations, and the matter remains before the court. As with all criminal cases, the accused remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Messages of condolences have continued pouring in for Fundisa’s family, friends, and loved ones during this painful time.

May her soul rest in peace. 💔🕊️
